
The weekend of May 18-20, 2001
CFAN's Mfg Manager, Troy Swift,
took us
(Mel, Danny, Doug and I) to his
beach house.
It's located on Matagorda Island
along the
Gulf of Mexico between Corpus Christi
and Houston.

We drove to Port O'Conner, pulled Troy's boat
out of storage,
and motored over to the island. What a
salty ride.
This isn't Troy's boat,
just an oil rig crew boat passing through the
jetty
back to port for another load:
