Last month Jen and I took a road trip to Virginia

Jen surprised me with a visit from Jason Judge
(so we took him with us)

We picked up Jason at the airport in Austin, TX
about 10PM Wed 09-26-01
and drove straight through the night
to have breakfast in New Orleans, LA:
 

We were read by the VooDoo Queen of N.O.

We then left New Orleans about 9AM Thu 09-27-01
and drove straight through the day
to stay the night on the shores of Jacksonville Beach, FL:

Jason and I got up to watch the sun rise

We then left Jacksonville about noon Fri 09-28-01
and drove for a short stretch to have dinner
on the river front in Savannah, GA:
 

We couldn't leave Savannah without touring the cemeteries:
